What can I eat for breakfast to lose weight?

Nicci asks: What is your favorite healthy breakfast?

I begin at home with a half of peanut butter and a banana sandwich on 100% whole wheat bread (1 slice bread, 1/2 banana and 1 Tbsp. crunchy natural peanut butter). Then once I get to work, I have 1/2 cup cottage cheese (1%), 2 tbsp. plain yogurt and fruit (generally fresh but if not available then I use frozen mango or frozen mixed berries). This holds me well until lunch sometimes as late as 1-2 PM.

I like to eat oatmeal for breakfast or anything that I find in the fridgerator......

I'm allergic to peanuts and peanut butter, and can't eat eggs as the first meal of my day, so cereal
works for me. I usually have a bowl of flax cereal with hazelnut milk, walnuts and blueberries.

i make hot cereal mixing steel cut oats, quinoa, barley and rye. spice it up with cinnamon and clove
