I decided to eat two eggs every morning starting in January (while counting calories the entire day) to lose a few vanity pounds (My goal was only to lose 5 lbs. but ended up losing nearly 10 by March 15th). I love two scrambled eggs with a little bit of cheddar cheese and sometimes I'll crumble a slice of turkey bacon on top. However, I have been concerned with the cholesterol in eggs and am very careful, now that I've lost the weight I wanted to lose, to change it up and not eat eggs every single morning. However, don't forget to remind your readers that a healthy breakfast does not make up for bad eating or slothfulness the rest of the day!

Thanks Brierley. I have seen people having unhealthy and very heavy breakfast. But instead they should opt for some fresh vegetables, shakes and fruits. This will surely help to give a good start to the day and remain healthy.

I eat a mix of homemade granola (not too sweet) with another high-fiber, low-sugar cereal such as Grape Nuts or Uncle Sam's. Really filling and tasty. When I need a change of pace, I'll have oatmeal (made with half skim milk/half water), topped with toasted pecans, diced pears, a few raisins, and cinnamon.

For myself and my nutrition clients, I especially love steel cut oats, topped with almond butter and an apple. Plus, green tea or matcha tea. Melanie Albert, Founder & CEO, Experience Nutrition. www.EXPNutrition.com
