I like to sub vegetables for pasta.
Squash for macaroni to make mac and cheese.
Zucchini or eggplant for lasagna noodles in lasagna.
Spaghetti squash or zucchini noodles for linguini.

I use applesauce to replace oil in baking. I also use oatmeal instead of breadcrumbs in meatloaf. I am not sure if it saves many calories, but it is more healthful

Eat mashed cauliflower instead of mashed potatoes

Replacing apple sauce for 80% of oil in baking.

Separate layers of leeks and slice into sheets. Use these in place of pasta sheets in lasagne.
