Nicci asks: What are your everyday, painless ways to save calories?

Recipe was very yummy - the sauce was terrific, but it was relaly hard to hold together, and one or two falafels fell apart. I think next time I might have them sit in the fridge for longer (I put them in the fridge for about 30 mins) - they seem to hold better the longer they sat out.
