There are a lot of awesome Apps on the market today that you can get for free. They scan bar codes of foods and have many others pre-programmed. It is a great way of keeping on top of the amount of Protein, Carbs, Fat, etc. that you are taking in everyday - not just total calories.

I eat whatever I want whenever I am hungry as long as it's real food. So, I stay away from processed foods like mayonnaise, which is loaded with sugar and salt. I also eat mostly organic meats and produce. I stay away from dairy, fruit juice and sweeteners and instead drink 2 - 3 fruit or green smoothies and plenty of water. I have not only lost weight just by eating healthier but I have more energy and am more focused at work. Oh, and my sex life seems to have improved as well.
