Brierley asks: What foods fill you up and help you eat less?


Chickpeas are an outstanding source of good protein when made in hummus recipes. And can be made into a wrap with a low carb version of that for a great nutritious lunch or small snack before a sporting event.

My mom always said to eat celery if you want to lose weight, because it burns more calories with just the act of eating it than celery actually contains. Same with grapes. :) I always used to put flax seed and wheat germ in my oatmeal and what not. :)

I agree with all the reccomendations above.
A high fiber low fat diet is the backbone of the Weight Watchers plan. I lost over 30 pounds two years ago. Carolyn Rogers

hi how r u? my case is different if other is on going on their diet but me i was always looking to how to gain weight very fast or in a slow way, so what u will recommend for me?

I like this article. I find that banannas are a tremendous help in keeping the weight maintained also.

apples and carrots have more starch than some body types can successful lose weight on...all of us can not do the same thing to get the same results...blood types and body types make some of these cookie cutter suggestions a bit disheartening...

I use to to be an all- natural vege ingesture. I have fel severly off the the wagon whan childern were born in the family. Judging from the short list of weight loss foods, I am er particl to apples and sweet potatoes. Som friends think I have picular tastes when I will eat a sweet potatoe with a litle margerine or buter and cinimon. I would like a more extencive list of healthy weight-loss foods. Thank you.
