I agree with all the reccomendations above.
A high fiber low fat diet is the backbone of the Weight Watchers plan. I lost over 30 pounds two years ago. Carolyn Rogers

My mom always said to eat celery if you want to lose weight, because it burns more calories with just the act of eating it than celery actually contains. Same with grapes. :) I always used to put flax seed and wheat germ in my oatmeal and what not. :)

Chickpeas are an outstanding source of good protein when made in hummus recipes. And can be made into a wrap with a low carb version of that for a great nutritious lunch or small snack before a sporting event.
