Well, good information but at the same time a little disheartening. I have to say this is the first time I've ever seen "eating small meals throughout the day" as not being considered a better method of eating. It doesn't help us when all of these different health experts have opposite views on various health matters. Who do we believe?
Also, I have always believed eating later at night is a bad thing; however, I've had personal trainers say it's "what you eat" not "when you eat" and have also seen a few articles recently saying the same thing. Again, a contradiction among health experts.

There are many fads and diets out there- what everyone needs is a lifestyle change in general. I would start with a cleanse and then go from there. I followed www.detoxfromsugar.com and then cleansed my body for 21 days then i started my life healthy lifestyle (free from the fads and trends!)
best of luck!

good post! would like it if you could include a statement about what you SHOULD do, because a whole paragraph written in the form of "X does Y -- but you don't want Y; and people say you should do Z, but you shouldn't do Z" is much harder to absorb than a sentence that says "Do Q, not Z." I had to kind of double-process the writing to get a clear to-do list in my head, which is better for me than a to-avoid-and-not-remember list!
thanks :)

What's the difference between eating an early dinner and fasting for 16 hours (good for weight loss) and skipping breakfast to extend your fast (bad for weight loss)?

Wondering: Does drinking a lot of water/fluids help promote weight loss?
