I have done some juice and all fruit and vegetable fasts. I do think that it is healthy to fast every once in a while, but don't recommend them for weight loss. To lose weight, it's my feeling that you have to change your diet permanently, rather than go on a diet.

I recently did a 10 juice fast. I lost 9lbs. Now I am slowly adding food back. I juice for breakfast and dinner. For lunch I have eaten for two weeks vegetables and fruits. The nect two weeks I add nuts, and seeds. The next two weeks I will add beans. Then I will add grains. My husband ha been juice fasting for 28 days and has lost over 20 lbs. We had tried everything else we even have gone vegan. This worked for us.

I threw my juicer away and bought a Vitamix! This way all the fiber stays with you and the benefits of a high fiber diet are many!
It occurred to me that juicing throws all of the fiber away, so all you are left with is liquid, sugar & some vitamins.

have never tried a juice diet I would like very much to do one tell me what to juice and how much. I do not eat meat I want to loss some weight
