I am 27, might possibly have hypoglycemia, do I rarely eat sugar as of moving to a new state 30 days ago. I only have 1 cheat meal a week. I do an intense workout about 4-6 times a week either before or after work. I'm 125lbs and I'm always hungry. I eat healthy cereals for breakfast like grape nuts and kashi - mostly high protein and for lunch I'll have some type of lean meat sandwich without mayo followed by veggies or a large salad. For snacks I eat nuts, or bars that have no sugar, nor any artificial sugars or favors. For dinner I will have some sort of pasta with protein, more veggies, or have bean and corn tortilla with a salad. My main drink throughout the day is water with ice since its hot where I live. But although I eat slow, take my vitamins and other heathly supplements I still feel hungry. I'll drink do much water that I'm in and out of the bathroom a lot. Another thing that bugs me is there has been the occasional episode where I'll eat and be full, but an hour or less after I'm done, I'm hungry again. Many times I have gone to bed feeling starved but not eat food because I have heard its bad to eat right before bed time. I have talked with nutritionist and have read many things. I'm not sure what to do. Pretty much since I can remember I have always felt hungry. I was even teased by peers and my uncles due to my large appetite and always saying "I'm hungry" and their reply was " hi hungry, I'm uncle Todd, nice to meet you". Any advice anyone. The sucky thing is with this economy and the move, I can't afford to visit many doctors and etc. thanks

I thought this post was really interesting, and I really learned a lot. I’m on a college tennis team, and when we go to play matches in other states we have to eat out for lunch and dinner, because we’re constantly on the road. I eat a lot when we go on these road trips, but it’s not a big deal because I work off the calories during my matches. When I get back on campus, for the next few days I usually still have a big appetite though. My body still craves a lot of food, even when I’m not as active. I just assumed my body got used to intaking so many calories from the previous few days, and that it was normal for this to happen. Now I know that what I’m eating is a big part of it. I eat a lot of fast food, and these foods have the fats/ palmitic acid which make your body resistant to appetite suppressing hormones. I also learned little tips about eating healthier. It was also interesting to learn that it’s healthier to eat slowly. You’ll burn more calories if you eat over a 20-30 minute time span, rather than to just scarf down your food.
