Carolyn asks: What’s your favorite healthy fast food meal?

Salad with Olive oil and vinegar with and lots of fresh vegetables to fill up on...awesome.

Thin crust spinach pizza!

McD's grilled chicken Southwest salad is around 300 calories, plus another 100 or so for the dressing. Not bad for a fast food meal. Plus, with lots of protein it stays with you and it feels like you're getting away with something with the tortilla strips on it!

go to Mc donalds and get a burger with lettus, bacon, tomato and double the tomato, leave out the meat.I also scrape some of the mayonaise off. do the same at Burger king. Also sometimes I only have half a roll. It's a B.L.T.

My go to Fast food spot when I get caught on the go is either Taco Bell or Carl's Jr./Green Burrito. Taco Bell's crunchy taco, fresco style (no cheese, add salsa instead) is only 150 calories. Their steak soft taco, fresco style is 170. Carl's Jr./ Green Burrito has similar offerings, just ask them to leave off the cheese. They have a salsa bar where you can choose your own level of heat. We actually find them to be more flavorful than Taco Bell. Either way, they are good choices.

A Whopper Jr. hamburger with mustard in place of mayo and an unsweetened iced tea to go.
This hamburger has all the good stuff that is missing from other plain burgers, like dill pickles, onions, tomato and lettuce. Plus its smaller in overall size. Perfect when you're on the go. Sandie

Chicken Wrap from Chic-Fil-A

I like Burger King's junior whopper without mayo. It is satisfying and I thinkj it is lower in calories.

6 inch turkey sub on wheat with mustard and no cheese and no mayo from Subway with a bag of Baked Lays and Apples.

Subway six inch chicken with sweet onion sauce. Wendy's is also good, you can get a small chili and side salad which is not bad but unfortunately not easy to eat in the car :) Getting a plain small hamburger at BK or McD's isn't going to blow your diet either. Taco Bell makes those fresco style soft tacos which are really good and easy to eat while on the road, and only between 100-200 calories.
I try not to eat much for fast food but like the writer here sometimes you just find yourself in a hurry and it's the most convenient option.
