You're right, the calories are for the main dish only. If you are looking for complete balanced meal plans including side dishes dessert, etc, check out this link:

The recipes look great, but the calorie count is only for the main dish, not the entire "dinner". It would be great if you could design this so that we know what the nutritional content of the balanced dinner is.
