Let's have a show of hands for everyone who wishes you could flashback to a holiday season in childhood past this year! ✋🏿✋✋🏽 A warm hug from grandma, the magic of Santa, watching The Grinch and A Charlie Brown Christmas on loop...pure comfort and joy.

Since this year's pandemic holiday season is going to be like no other we've lived through, we're feeling a bit nostalgic and turned our thoughts to some holiday season sweets from decades ago.

If you, too, would like a sweet taste of the past, we went on a hunt to find these vintage holiday candies for sale online. We highly recommend stocking up on at least one this year—for yourself or anyone on your nice list.

Werther's Originals Hard Candies

Even though they're now available in soft, chewy, caramel popcorn, sugar-free and flavored (coffee, cappuccino, apple) varieties, it's tough to beat the original caramel hard candies. Fun fact: Werther's have been sold for more than 100 years!

Cella's Dark Chocolate-Covered Cherries

Chocolate-covered cherries, AKA cherry cordials, are an iconic holiday treat, and Cella's is often pegged as the first to sell them commercially way back in 1864. We bet the recipe developers had no idea more than 150 years later their products could be on the doorstep of pretty much any American home in less than 24 hours. Modern technology; what a gift!

Spice Drops Old-Fashioned Gumdrops

Dating back to the early 1800s, gumdrops originally came flavored with herbs, spices and botanicals including clove, allspice, cinnamon, mint, licorice and anise. With that in mind, we found a variety pack of these colorful chewy candies that offer a nice mix of sugar and spice.

Goetze's Caramel Creams

Also referred to as "Bulls-Eyes," these cream-filled chewy caramels have been sold at soda fountains, supermarkets and now online. Goetze's, a confectionary brand that's called Baltimore home since 1895, has been whipping up these gooey treats using the same recipe since the 1940s.

Hammond's Candies Hand-Spun Ribbon Candy

It's a bit fuzzy as to where or when this folded-strip hard candy first originated, but these pretty candies have likely been a tradition since at least the 1800s. Hammond's has been making their showy, giftable version—with flavors like cinnamon, cherry, clove, lemon and peppermint—for more than 100 years.

LIFESAVER 5-Flavor Hard Candy Sweet Storybook

According to all staffers who grew up in the 1980s and 1990s, no stocking stuffer stash was complete without a LIFESAVER storybook. This slightly updated version might look a little different, but the five classic flavors remain the same: cherry, raspberry, orange, pineapple and watermelon.

12 Candies of Christmas Holiday Candy Assortment

Ideal for the indecisive or to extend the celebrations, consider this 12 days of Christmas-inspired candy. Instead of just one flavor, it comes with 12 to sample as you wish between now and December 25. This assortment includes peppermint drops, peppermint swirls, wintermint chews, raspberry buttons, mint squares, fruit gems, vanilla kisses, honey buttons, anise squares, Christmas pinwheels, butterscotch candy and buttery toffee.

Terry's Milk Chocolate Oranges

Chocolate and orange is a classic holiday combo, and these chocolate spheres are flavored with pure orange oil for the real-deal taste. These milk chocolate "oranges" come in packs of six, so you can stuff them in everyone's stockings this year!
