Yes you *can* still enjoy a mimosa even if you're not dining with a big brunch crew.

Let's see a show of hands for all who miss long, leisurely mimosa and Bloody Mary brunches every so often… 🙌🙋✋

Since we're doing a lot less gathering, we're likely doing (at least a little) less sparkling wine drinking, since it doesn't make sense to pop a five-glass bottle for one or two brunchers.

For this reason—and for the surprisingly decent nutrition stats and low alcohol by volume—we were excited to discover Ohza's new canned bellinis and mimosas. The 5% ABV canned cocktails are about on par with spiked seltzer in terms of alcohol content (so they won't leave you feeling tired and lethargic all day) and make the perfect brunch pairing when you don't want to open a full-sized bottle of bubbly.

With up to 80% less sugar and 60% fewer calories than a typical restaurant or homemade mimosa, the Classic Mimosa, Mango Mimosa and Classic Bellini flavors each have 140 calories per 12-ounce can, with 13 to 14 grams of carbs and 8 to 11 grams of sugar. The ingredients are simple: Brut sparkling wine, real fruit juice and some citric acid for an extra squeeze of citrus flavor. Each 12-pack serves just as many as 4(!) bottles of sparkling wine and a full 59-ounce juice carton.

Buy it: $36 for a 12-pack of 12-ounce cans, ohzamimosas.com

We've placed our order and told all our pals to do the same. That way, we can schedule a virtual brunch on a lazy weekend morning and each crack open a can to enjoy with each other—and with our Whole Grain Buttermilk Pancakes. It's almost like we're already back at our favorite local bistro.
