We'd eat vegetables for every meal if they were always covered in buffalo ranch dressing.

We can always count on Trader Joe's to take classic flavor combinations and put a creative twist on them. Whether it's dill pickle hummus or honey mustard and onion pretzels, Trader Joe's constantly keeps our palates entertained. And the store's newest offering—a Buffalo Ranch Chopped Salad Kit—puts a healthier spin on a popular bar food combo.

Thanks to Trader Joe's Instagram fan account @traderjoeslist, we discovered the new salad kit and had to know more. According to the package, the salad consists of green cabbage, romaine lettuce, cauliflower stalks, celery, kale, carrots and blue cheese crumbles. The salad also comes with an addictive buffalo ranch dressing for drizzling on top.

The prepackaged salad would be a perfect lunch topped with some grilled chicken or crispy tofu. A one-cup serving of salad and dressing contains 110 calories, 9 grams of fat (of which 1.5 is saturated), 320 milligrams of sodium, 8 grams of carbohydrates, 2 grams of fiber, 3 grams of sugar (with less than 1 gram of added sugars) and 3 grams of protein.

Prepackaged salad kits are a great way to save time when you're too busy to cook, but still want a healthy meal option. We will definitely be looking for this combo the next time we're at Trader Joe's!
