Who says technology is only for the young? 81-year-old Stephen Austin, better known as "Old Man Steve," has become a social media sensation on TikTok for his simple, wholesome cooking videos. The retired box office worker from Dallas has nearly 600,000 followers on the platform.

"Old Man Steve" shares his simple recipes from his kitchen in Fort Worth, Texas. You'll find him making all kinds of comforting foods, from French toast to sandwiches to hors d'oeuvres (which he endearingly pronounces "or-dur-vees"). He even has a video of him making frozen biscuits that has 8.5 million views!

While you won't be learning any fancy cooking tips (or a recipe from scratch, for that matter) from "Old Man Steve," TikTok users seem to love him for his wholesome content. He encourages viewers to eat their breakfast and makes them feel like he's their honorary grandpa.

Luckily, you can still keep up with "Old Man Steve," even if you don't have a TikTok account. Austin also has a YouTube channel, where you can find videos of him from TikTok and his former Vine account (where he first became a social media star).

You can also rent him as your honorary grandpa/entertainment for three hours for just $250. He says he's available to fly anywhere but needs to be home by 9 p.m. because he is old and needs his sleep.
