If you're a fan of RXBars, you're about to go crazy over their latest endeavor-oatmeal cups! The company announced the debut of RX A.M. Oats on Instagram, and we can't wait to get our hands on all three flavors. When the options are Chocolate, Apple Cinnamon and Maple, we think it's safe to say trying them all is a must. (FYI, we tried to get our hands on them, but they've been selling out and we haven't been able to track them down yet!)
Not only do these oatmeal cups look delicious and super convenient, their nutrition labels are pretty impressive. Just like the company's bars, these products have a short list of wholesome, real ingredients. All you'll find in these cups are oats, dates, almonds, egg whites, sea salt and fruit, chocolate or maple sugar depending on the flavor.
Each of these RX A.M. Oats cups pack:
- 250 calories
- 8-9g total fat
- 1-2g saturated fat
- 34-35g carbs
- 6g fiber
- 8-9g sugars (none of which are added)
- 12g protein
- 80-95mg sodium
The hearty protein-fiber combo is sure to keep you full 'til lunch and serves as a great post-workout snack or meal with some fresh fruit and nut butter.
As of now, you'll only be able to purchase these new oatmeal cups at RXBar.com. We'll keep our eye out for other retailers as they become more widely available.
It's also important to note that these cups aren't cheap-$34.99 for a 12-pack. This makes them nearly $3 a piece. If you're looking for a more economical option for overnight oats or morning bowl of oatmeal, try our Apple-Cinnamon Overnight Oats, Chocolate Banana Oatmeal or Maple-Nut Granola. And if you want to add protein to your oats you can stir in cottage cheese, make overnight oats with Greek yogurt, drizzle peanut butter on top of your bowl or add nuts or seeds for crunch and a protein boost.
