The dog days of summer are definitely getting us excited for everything fall has to offer-like cooler temperatures, brightly colored leaves, amazing fall produce and, of course, all things pumpkin spice. The Fresh Market is upping their pumpkin spice game this season with a host of new and exciting options-like a Ginger Pumpkin Seed Gouda cheese.

This autumnal cheese is crafted by Artikaas Dutch Cheesemakers and made with real pumpkin seeds, ground ginger and a hint of garlic for a complex, cravable bite. Though it has unusual flavor, it's still pretty mild and creamy in texture. Artikaas advises serving it at room temperature or-our personal favorite way to eat cheese-warm, melted and gooey. Fall fondue, anyone?

The Fresh Market's Ginger Pumpkin Seed Gouda is made with milk and a seasoning mix that includes pumpkin seeds, salt, starter culture and microbial rennet. A one-ounce serving has 106 calories, 9g fat, 6g saturated fat, 0g carbs, 6g protein, 8% DV sodium and 20% DV calcium.

This smooth and creamy cheese is best paired with sweet-tart and smokey pairings-we're envisioning it on a turkey and apple panini, alongside dried fruit and nuts for a festive cheeseboard or even with some sweet potato or cauliflower gnocchi.

Now when will we get to try this intriguing cheese, you ask? This Ginger Pumpkin Seed Gouda is expected to arrive in mid-September at all 161 Fresh Market locations. We can't wait to incorporate it in our favorite fall recipes.

Several other pumpkin spice products to look out for at The Fresh Market this fall are a Harvest Pumpkin Salsa, Pumpkin Spice Coffee and some more indulgent treats, like Pumpkin Pie Bark and Pumpkin Donuts. We can't wait to try them all!
