EatingWell Media Group, based in Shelburne, Vermont, is looking for part-time freelancers to help with a large-scale recipe project.
The work involves editing recipes for online publishing. Freelancers will be responsible for formatting recipes appropriately so they show up correctly on the recipe webpage, for editing the ingredients/method so that they work as written, and for applying nutrition and culinary classifications to each recipe (e.g., vegetarian main dish, Asian-inspired cuisine, beginner/intermediate/advanced recipe).
This project includes a mix of independent work and team collaboration. The ideal candidate would be someone who is highly detail-oriented, able to work independently, not afraid to ask questions and take initiative when necessary, comfortable collaborating with others, and open to feedback on their work. Basic understanding of recipe structure and culinary terms is preferred.
The work would need to be done in our Shelburne office. Minimum availability of 20 hours per week necessary.
