In my newest book, Beauty from the Inside Out, I share my favorite wellness secrets and those of my friends to offer inspiration and advice on how to be the best version of yourself through and through. One way to achieve this is through good nutrition. Eating healthy is one motivation, but what about taste? Since I'm a foodie, I look for healthy food that is both delicious and clean. My favorite way to do this? Beauty bowls. In my book, I worked with Lily Kunin, the founder of Clean Food Dirty City, to develop some great recipes that are easy to make, full of superfoods and utterly delicious.
Let's start with the basics first. A beauty bowl is made up of colorful ingredients like fresh vegetables and fruits that provide you fuel, good fats like omega-3s for skin, and lean proteins for energy. These ingredients are not only beautiful to look at, but are good for you too. When eaten together, they'll help you feel and look better.
