Though you may not be hosting extended family or having extravagant parties this year, the holidays can still be pretty expensive. Between shopping for groceries and gifts, most of us end up spending an exorbitant amount of money in the final months of the year. Thankfully, Aldi is here to lighten the load when it comes to throwing your family's Thanksgiving.

The American Farm Bureau conducts an annual survey to discover the average price of a home-cooked Thanksgiving meal for 10 people, which includes a 16-pound turkey, cubed bread stuffing, sweet potatoes, green peas, fresh cranberries, a veggie tray, pumpkin pie mix, two 9-inch pie shells, whipping cream and whole milk. After doing some further research of their offerings, Aldi found that their price for a 10-person Thanksgiving meal was almost $19 less than the national average—just $30 for everything. (Last year, their total basket cost was $32—so Aldi has lowered their prices by an additional $2 this year!)

To save you even more money, Aldi is also offering Thanksgiving turkeys as part of their "Aldi Finds" this week. Frozen turkeys are just $.69 per pound, and Butterball turkeys are available for $.87 per pound. Scoop yours up now and stick it in the freezer until Turkey Day to cash in on this limited-time savings!

"Aldi has everything our shoppers need to host the perfect Thanksgiving meal, without breaking the bank," said Scott Patton, vice president of corporate buying at Aldi U.S., in a press release. "From the star of the table—the Thanksgiving turkey—to the appetizers, sides, desserts, beverages and even decor, we're proud to offer shoppers outstanding quality food and goods at simply unbeatable prices."
