OUR STAFF
The EatingWell management and editorial team includes former editors, recipe developers, nutrition advisors, circulation and production staff who helped launch the original EatingWell Magazine in 1990.
Core senior members of the staff have a cumulative total of more than 240 years of magazine, book and web publishing experience among them, with more than 100 national and international awards for writing, editing, art direction, creative marketing and publishing excellence.
EatingWell Magazine has won the 2006 Bert Greene Award for magazine journalism given by International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP) for Rachael Moeller Gorman’s special report “Miracle Up North” (June/July 2006). Contributing editor Peter Jaret’s article “Organics: Are They Worth It?” (August/September 2006) was nominated in the same category. Gorman’s article was also nominated for the prestigious James Beard Foundation Journalism Award for magazine reporting, as was Senior Editor Nicci Micco’s special report “These Supplements May Save Your Life…Or Not” (December 2006). Our cookbook EatingWell Serves Two was nominated for a 2006 James Beard Foundation Book Award in the “Healthy focus” category. EatingWell won James Beard journalism awards in 2003 and again in 2004, and was the recipient the Folio: Silver Eddie Award for Epicurean magazines in 2004 and the Bronze in 2006. EatingWell was honored in Samir Husni’s annual awards as one of the 30 Most Notable Magazine Launches of 2002.
