PRESS RELEASESIACP and James Beard Journalism AwardsEatingWell book and magazine articles nominated for 2007 culinary journalism awards.IACP Bert Greene Awards April 14, 2007: EatingWell wins the IACP Bert Greene Awards for Magazine Journalism for "Miracle Up North" (June/July 2006) by Rachael Moeller Gorman. EatingWell's "Organics, Are They Worth It?" (August/September 2006) by Peter Jaret.was also nominated. The award, handed out by the International Association of Culinary Professionals, is one of the highest honors in food writing. For the full list, go to www.iacp.com. James Beard Journalism Awards EatingWell holds two of the three finalists spots in the James Beard Journalism Awards’ category Newspaper, Newsletter or Magazine Reporting. “These Supplement’s May Save Your Life” (December, 2006) by senior editor, Nicci Micco and “Miracle Up North.” (June/July 2006) by Rachael Moeller Gorman. The EatingWell Serves Two Cookbook, by Jim Romanoff and the EatingWell Test Kitchen, was nominated in the “Healthy Focus” cookbook category. A number of frequent EatingWell contributors and advisors are also finalists for their books, including Marion Nestle, Deborah Madison and Cheryl Jamison.
