EatingWell Media Group, located in the Burlington, VT area is a multi-media food and health publisher of healthy recipes, award-winning food and nutrition content, and how-to information that combine good taste with good health. Platforms include www.eatingwell.com, digital content distribution to leading portals, food and health web sites, EatingWell Magazine and popular cookbooks and custom publications.

The Interactive Producer, a full-time position, will help leverage all EatingWell Media Group content resources to develop and execute best-of-class content programs for www.eatingwell.com and its distribution partners.

We are looking for a friendly, confident communicator who can organize, schedule and manage to tight deadlines.  You must be an enthusiastic self starter who isn’t afraid to ask questions and understands the importance of both creative problem solving and getting the details right.

Reporting directly to the Executive Interactive Producer, you will help to create, manage and update content and editorial schedules for www.eatingwell.com, and e-newsletters. Basic web skills like DreamWeaver, Fireworks and html are required to manipulate content for inputting into our CMS.

 What your job will entail:

•   Hands-on production of content pages via CMS

• Develop interactive features primarily by creatively leveraging existing resources
• Create, manage and update content and editorial schedules for web site e-newsletters and content distribution partners
• Schedule and manage the movement of Interactive jobs through all departments
• Manage and help to grow partner relationships via great editorial management and promotion ideas
• Work on special projects as assigned by the Executive Producer

 Requirements:

• Experience managing interactive projects. You will have proven strength in project scheduling, ongoing project management
  

• Pride in your work and ability to follow through to complete tasks on deadline
• Organized, a creative thinker, flexible, and ability to rally the troops through enthusiasm
• Ability to make a project a success via team play, online strategies, and rolling up those sleeves for partners and the EatingWell site
• Proven hands-on production of content pages via CMS, DreamWeaver, Fireworks, HTML
• 4 Year College Degree in Liberal Arts, Communications, or related Health or Business area
